Imagine a night...
Imagine a night the exhibitions came to life.

Imagine a night when Gallipoli Soldiers were shouting at you.

Imagine a night from the darkest shadow is the mustard gas that kills a man

Imagine a night and the rats,eating everything in sight.

Imagine a night seeing the trail from roof to floor.

Imagine a night when you are eye to eye with the mighty colossal squid, tentacles wrapping around you.

Imagine a night hiding to escape. 

Imagine a night when the artworks are having a party.

Imagine a night when Te Papa came alive.

Adrenalin writing

In the burning hot desert a lizard slowly emerges out of the hot sand ready for a feed. The lizard waits patiently for his food to come there was an ant that was slowly going on the lizards face. The lizards tongue grabbed the ant and slowly ate it then another one came and the lizard ate that one to.  The mouse was in his little hut but little did he know that a humongous tarantula was right behind him ready to strike but the rat was too fast he ran out of his little hut so fast there was smoke coming from his little feet. In slow motion the mouse was jumping over the rocks and hit a branch but recovered and still ran his little heart out. The eagle slowly falls in front of the rat and makes the rat stop. Then the rat goes and hides from all of the eagles in a skull head. All of the eagles come together and start kicking the skull head until the rat came out. The rat tried to escape the skull head but the eagle scooped the rat in its claws and ate it for dinner, mmm, yummy the end.

Wellington camp 2018

I learnt heaps of things during my time in Wellington.
I really liked jumperama because I have never been to a trampoline place before.
I found it hard to stay patient because I was so excited
I found it easy to make a video about having fun in Wellington

Wellington Camp 2018 term 4

Wellington camp
 At Te Karaka Horowai, Mum and I got picked up then we stop in Wairoa and stopped for a toilet break. After that the next stop was Napier where we had morning tea. Then we went to Dannevirke for lunch after lunch we went straight down to wellington on the bus we watched Avengers infinity war despicable me 3 and star wars han solo before we arrived at our destination when we get there we go and have dinner.

On Monday we went for a morning jog and morning exercise after the exercise we went for our showers then we went to Parliament we where taking photos and this man called William he took us to this metal detector and when Miss dods went threw the metal detector went off Miss dods went threw again and it still went off I think it was miss dods is jaket sips when we got into Parliament William took us to put our bags in lock. Then we went and got to sit on the people of Parliament sites than after Parliament we went to Te papa museum. We got put into teams of three or more and then we got to go and explore until 2.30 when it hit 2.30 we got to go into the Gallipoli exhibition and got to see guns trenches soldiers and thes tall soldiers in the background he or she was talking after the eabition me and Tane where going up and down up and down up and down the escalators. We went to the 6 floor it was amazing the view was cool as.

Te papa reflection

Te papa
I was inside Te papa museum and all the exhibit’s came to life. I was still in there, I was so scared that I...

ran to one of the counters and hid behind it. The exhibit of the Gallipoli soldiers were shooting their guns at each other and their bullets had made little holes that were scattered on the wall. Then this big rat walked right past me looking for food to eat. Then there was a wet sloppy trail down those walls and I looked up and the colossal squid was right there. The colossal squid tried to wrap its tentacles around me, I try to run from it but it keeps on following me until I hid in the basement for a little while. And while I was down there I could hear a loud bang and when I went to go and have a look it was a mustard gas from world war one. And the gas is very dangerous. The gas can kill a man the gas would suffocate you to death. And all the art gallery are moving to other people pictures to visit each other to talk.

We have been learning about Wellington

My learning was about Te papa I researched Te papa to learn many amazing facst. I then created a peice of imaginary writing using my learning about Te papa.

Earning ninja belts

Today I worked on the Google Doc Ninja Challenge.

Today I earned the white and green belt.

I am aiming to get the red and black belt.

I found it hard to work because the internet was slow.

I found it easy to do some of the belts because some of the work that I usually do in my mane work like changing my font and the colour of the font.

Visual reading poster - The Australian outback - a summary

The Australian canning stock route is the same length as New Zealand from Cape Reinga all the way down to Bluf. When I was reading my book I was summarising the key information and putting it in my own words. I liked this story because it is a survival story and I like survival stories.

Our learning goal was to hook in the reading by adding more detail to our writing.
I enjoyed this writing because I was so proud of my work.and surprised that I could do amazing writing like this. This is the first time I have written like this and I love it!

Jonny 4 higher graffiti artist

I chose Johnny 4 higher because of his fantastic graffiti artwork that’s been displayed around the world.
When I was searching information about Johnny 4 higher I was trying to find the key information about why he chose to be a graffiti artist and summarise the information in my own words.

Why? I picked Johnny 4 higher because of his amazing maori art. He is able to complete a mural in one day.

Where? His graffiti art is all around the whole world and across New Zealand.

50 Cent

I chose 50 Cent because he is an amazing rapper/voice actor. 50 Cent was naughty and selling drugs when he was 12 years old. I picked 50 Cent because I used to listen to him when I was little. I wanted to write about 50 Cent because I heard that he got shot nine times and that interested me. I was searching for all of the important things and summarizing the key facts. Putting them in my own words was the hardest part for me. 

2018 Profile

My name is CJ and I live in a family of three. I go to Matawai School and I am in room 4. I’ve got a brilliant teacher.
I am becoming more confident in my learning. I have started enjoying reading and have read more books in the last year than I ever have before. I am working hard on knowing all my times tables in math. I am really proud of my writing this year.
I want to share my learning with my mum and dad by sharing my blog. I am looking forward to achieving all of my learning goals this year.
